Sesame look, Maple touch, consistent shots
Many home machines make you wait and guess. Fellow solves both with Boosted Boiler. Three independent heating elements, including a heated group head, deliver to the degree stability and a quick move from brewing to steaming.
Built in guidance on the full colour display helps you pull tasty espresso on day one. When you are ready, explore pressure profiling, temperature control, and flow control to shape every detail.
How It Works
Fill the 2.0 L tank, power on, and the machine is ready to brew in two minutes or less. Choose a preset profile or use the dial to set temperature, pressure, and flow. Press the brew key for your shot, then use assisted steaming to hit your target milk temperature, with auto stop and auto purge. Use the hidden hot water spout for americanos or tea at the exact temperature and volume you set.

Maintenance & Best Practices
Wipe the steam wand after each use and let auto purge run. Remove the wand tip for a periodic deep clean. Empty and rinse the drip tray when the max fill indicator shows. FAQs
-
What baskets and portafilter size does the Malted Chocolate use?
It uses a 58 mm commercial format. In the box you get a 58 mm bottomless portafilter plus an 18 g single wall basket and an 18 g pressurised double basket.
-
How do I keep results consistent day to day?
Start with a preset profile for your roast. Adjust your grind until the machine’s shot feedback is on target, then save that temperature, pressure, and flow profile to repeat it next time.
-
How should I clean it?
Wipe the wand after steaming, let auto purge run, and remove the tip for a deeper clean as needed. Rinse the drip tray when the max fill indicator shows and keep the tank above minimum. For cleaners, see espresso cleaning products.
-
Is it food safe and BPA or PFAS free?
Yes. Components that touch coffee or water are BPA and PFAS free. The boiler, portafilter, and baskets are food grade stainless steel. Water lines are reinforced silicone. The water tank is BPA free plastic.
-
Can it brew and steam at the same time?
Not at the same time. It is technically a single boiler machine. Thanks to Boosted Boiler, you can move from a shot to steaming in seconds once it is up to temperature.
-
What ranges can I set for heat, pressure, and pre infusion?
Temperature range is 50 to 95 degrees Celsius, with the option to disengage heat for cold shots. It uses a 15 bar vibration pump calibrated for up to 9 bar extraction. Max pre infusion flow is 8 ml per second, and you can pre infuse as long as you like.

Coffee Parts Thoughts
Fellow entering the espresso machine market was always going to attract attention — but the Series 1 feels far more serious and refined than most people expected. A lot of brands entering espresso for the first time tend to lean heavily toward either beginner convenience or ultra-technical enthusiast territory. What’s impressive here is how successfully Fellow has managed to bridge both worlds.
The biggest achievement of the Series 1 is that it makes genuinely advanced espresso concepts approachable without watering them down. Pressure profiling, flow control, programmable extractions, controlled pre-infusion — these are features normally reserved for machines costing dramatically more, and usually aimed at very experienced users. Fellow has somehow packaged those capabilities into a workflow that still feels intuitive and welcoming.
You can also clearly see Fellow’s industrial design background throughout the machine. The interface, ergonomics, layout, and interaction design feel considered in a way many espresso machines simply aren’t. Instead of feeling like commercial café equipment awkwardly shrunk for the kitchen, the Series 1 feels purpose-built for modern home coffee setups.
The pressure profiling system is probably the standout feature. Most home machines lock users into a fairly traditional 9-bar extraction style, but the Series 1 allows far more experimentation with how water interacts with the coffee puck throughout the shot. That opens the door to softer, sweeter extractions, especially with lighter roast coffees that can often taste harsh or underdeveloped on more traditional machines.
What’s equally important though is that Fellow hasn’t forgotten newer users. The guided brewing modes and real-time feedback make the machine surprisingly approachable, even if someone is still learning espresso fundamentals. It teaches workflow rather than hiding it behind automation — and that’s a genuinely smart direction for home espresso.
In many ways, the Series 1 feels like the natural evolution of where high-end home coffee equipment is heading: café-level capability combined with genuinely thoughtful user experience design. For coffee enthusiasts wanting room to grow without immediately stepping into commercial multi-thousand-dollar territory, this is one of the most exciting home espresso machines released in years
