The Chisel Distribution Coffee Tool

The Pullman Chisel distribution tool addresses the challenge of achieving even coffee distribution before tamping. This tool features a distinctive single raised blade design that increases distribution consistency by maximising sideways movement of the coffee grounds with minimal downward pressure, helping baristas achieve more uniform extraction.

The Chisel's single raised blade compresses just 6% of the coffee bed upon initial contact, compared to up to 30% with other distribution tools. This smaller imprint allows for better horizontal movement and redistribution whilst still leaving enough room for the tamping action to properly compress air pockets out of an evenly distributed coffee bed. The tool features adjustable depth settings to customise distribution for different dose sizes and basket types.
