Pressurestats can be thought of a switch activated by pressure, which are adjustable and usually set at approximately 1.2 bars. When the pressure reached the predetermined level (approximately 1.2 bars) the pressurestat cuts off, as such it turns off the element. It will then turn on the element when the pressure drops again.
