The Timemore Ice Dripper produces a clean and flavoursome coffee that's definitely worth the wait. Cold water and ice is placed into the top chamber which is then fed into the basket that contains coarsely ground coffee.
The dial allows you to control the drip rate per second which means you’re in control of the end result! Slow the drip rate down for higher concentrated coffee or speed it up for lighter extraction.

A common question we get is what is the "best home coffee grinder?" and the answer really depends on use and budget. Does Syphon Coffee taste good?
It’s no secret that syphon coffee is a complex cup of coffee to make when comparing to other methods of brewing like Espresso Machines, French Press or Pour Over Coffee. That being said, the flavour of syphon coffee is described as clean, crisp and bright coffee. Even for those of you who are not used to black coffee, it may look dark and strong at first, but you’ll quickly realise that due to the method of brewing, it is quite a gentle brew.

Is the Timemore Chestnut C3 Hand Grinder good?
The Timemore Chestnut C3 Hand Grinder does an amazing job filling the gap between grinders on the lower end all the way to the top end grinders. It is an amazing little grinder that is durable, accurate and produces consistent grinds everytime.
Part of the reason this hand grinder produces grounds to the quality that it does, is due to the use of the 38mm Stainless Steel Burrs which make good use of its 25g capacity. These burrs also has the ability to be altered for espresso coffee or Pour Over/French press.
Removing any non-essential weight on the inside, Timemore has created a cleaver internal design where they use durable hard plastics for the structure, hand and knob. The chestnut has a hash marked exterior that allows for better grip. Measuring in at only 17cm tall and 465g, it’s a compact, high quality hand grinder that we will continue to recommend.
