Precision at Every Level: The Muvna Matrix-Precision Basket

Achieving the ideal espresso shot requires uniform water flow, consistent dosing, and controlled extraction. The Muvna Matrix-Precision Basket is designed to optimise these factors with its advanced perforation technology. This basket reduces channeling, improves coffee saturation, and delivers a smooth, rich crema with every pull. Whether used in a café or a home setup, it enhances the coffee experience by ensuring precision and repeatability.

How It Works

• Step 1: Choose the Right Basket Size: Select from four different capacities based on your preferred espresso dose.
• Step 2: Prepare Your Coffee Grounds: Grind your coffee beans to a fine consistency suitable for espresso. Aim for a consistent grind size to avoid uneven extraction.
• Step 3: Dose and Distribute: Weigh and dose the correct amount of coffee into the basket. Use a coffee distributor or WDT tool to evenly distribute the grounds, preventing clumps and channeling.
• Step 4: Tamp Evenly: Use a precision coffee tamper to apply even pressure, ensuring a level coffee bed for consistent extraction.
• Step 5: Insert and Brew: Attach the portafilter securely into your espresso machine and start the extraction. The laser-cut holes ensure even water flow, reducing inconsistencies in your shot.
• Step 6: Clean and Maintain: After brewing, rinse the basket under warm water to remove any residual coffee grounds. For deep cleaning, soak in espresso detergent regularly.
